"Very clean, friendly resort. Very personal attention. The room was terrific. Loved that we had an ocean view balcony and a kitchen and the beds were very comfortable. The staff was SO friendly and helpful. Did not like that bikes had to be returned by 5pm Apparently a drunk guest from some time ago got into an accident on bicycle. We did not have a car and that limited our early evening access to free and easy transport to dinner. Also... though it has a marina for boaters, the resort has no beach. It does have a great pool and free kayaks which we made great use of, but we came to the Keys for the beach and the clear water. We had to take a two mile bike ride (which was nice exercise) to a small local beach and a 45 minute Uber (expensive!) to a really large beach."

"We stayed in a suite facing the water. The view was wonderful. The room was great! Breakfast had a lot of variety. My only complaint was the hidden $17 parking fee. It’s not the fact that we had to pay it, but we had to pay it and then not have a place to park. We drove around forever and finally just parked on the circle worrying about whether we were going to get towed or not. We came out every 15 minutes to see if a spot opened up. I finally went to the restaurant and sat there and waited for someone to come out and followed them to their car and stood there and saved it for my husband to come and park. Trimmers with Loud gas powered implements were going to be Outside in front of our unit working all afternoon. I did go say something to the manager, and she took care of it."
